Commencement of the dismantling of three (3) unserviceable 150 cu.m. elevated tanks of Dagupan City Water District (DCWD), located at Sta. Maria Bonuan Boquig, Longos Bonuan Boquig, and Gaudencio-Siapno Malued Pumping Stations, began on April 13, 2026, starting with the first tank at Sta. Maria Bonuan Boquig. The activity is being monitored by DCWD led by General Manager Gretchen Buena, together with Construction and Maintenance Division Manager Renato N. Mundo, Water/Sewerage Maintenance Foreman Ronnie Salayog, and Senior Automotive Mechanic Alex Galvan. This project is in response to the urgent request of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Dagupan City, headed by Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, through the City Engineering Office led by Engr. Josephine Corpuz, for the immediate removal of the elevated tanks due to identified safety and hazard risks.
