Dagupan City Water District (DCWD) joined the global observance of International Men’s Month with a simple yet meaningful gesture of appreciation for its male concessionaires. As part of the agency’s Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives, DCWD employees distributed bottle openers as tokens of gratitude, recognizing the valuable role men play in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
The activity served as a reminder of DCWD’s commitment to inclusivity and gender awareness, celebrating not only women’s contributions but also acknowledging men as partners in progress.
This event was made possible through the support of the DCWD Board of Directors led by Chairperson Arlene Sanchez, and through the dynamic leadership of General Manager Gretchen Buena, whose guidance continues to inspire programs that uplift and engage all sectors of the community.
Through this simple act, DCWD reaffirmed its dedication to fostering a supportive and appreciative environment for every concessionaire it serves.
