The Dagupan City Water District (DCWD) employees composing of General Manager Gretchen Buena, Construction and Maintenance Division Manager Renato N. Mundo, Water Resources Division Manager Kurt Eddison M. Claveria and Water/Sewerage Maintenance Foreman Ronnie C. Salayog, conducted site inspection and monitoring activities of various projects being implemented by its Joint Venture (JV) Partner, Pamana Water Corporation (PAMANA).
The inspection covered the replacement of pipelines along Tebeng, Arellano, and Gomez streets, which are being undertaken in line with the ongoing road elevation and upgrading works in the areas. The construction of a pump house in Barangay Carael for a newly-drilled production well was also visited to assess actual progress. This facility constitutes the third well drilled by PAMANA under its service obligations in the JV Agreement, thereby increasing the total number of operational DCWD pumping stations to twenty-five (25).
In addition, DCWD monitored the repair works along Bisal Road, Bonuan Boquig, following the damage to an existing transmission pipeline caused by tree-cutting activities.
These monitoring and inspection activities are part of DCWD’s continuing efforts to ensure that projects under the Joint Venture are implemented in accordance with approved standards and timelines. The initiatives aim to enhance water distribution efficiency and maintain continuous supply across affected service areas, even amidst infrastructure developments.
Through regular inspections and close coordination with its JV Partner, DCWD reaffirms its commitment to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable water service to the people of Dagupan City.
