In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Dagupan City Water District (DCWD), through its Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System, honored women’s invaluable contributions to society with a heartfelt gesture of appreciation.
On March 14, 2025, the first 150 women concessionaires who visited the DCWD-PAMANA Joint Venture collection offices in Tambac, Herrero-Perez, and near Dagupan City Hall were warmly greeted with specially prepared tote bags. This simple yet meaningful initiative embodied this year’s theme, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas”—a testament to the strength, resilience, and essential role of women in shaping a better future.
DCWD’s commitment to gender inclusivity and empowerment goes beyond providing essential water services; it fosters a community where women are recognized, valued, and uplifted.
