The energy was electric, the grills were sizzling, and the Bangus was bigger and better than ever — and right in the heart of it all was the Dagupan City Water District (DCWD), proudly making a splash at this year’s Bangus Festival 2025.
As one of the official sponsors of Dagupan City’s most anticipated cultural celebration, DCWD once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the City’s heritage, tourism, and aquaculture. DCWD employees joined the event all with the cheerful vibe that the Bangus Festival is famous for.
This meaningful participation was made possible through the strong support of the DCWD Board of Directors, namely Chairperson Arlene Ann G. Sanchez, Vice-Chairperson Adelfo B. Valle, Director January E. Ragudo, Director Voltaire Emeliano Siapno-Tada and Director Feliza Valorie Arzadon-Sua and the dynamic leadership of DCWD General Manager Gretchen G. Buena, whose vision continues to guide the agency toward impactful community engagement and sustainable development.
This annual tradition, held every April 30, is more than just a celebration of the world-famous “Bangus.” It’s a dazzling showcase of Dagupan City’s rich culture, culinary excellence, and thriving fishery industry — a vital sector that DCWD continues to support by ensuring sustainable water services for both residents and fishpond operators.
With another successful year of participation, DCWD reaffirms its role not just as a water service provider, but as a devoted community partner — flowing in harmony with Dagupan City’s heartbeat, one Bangus at a time.
